Franklyn Gordon came through Sheffield United’s academy after joining the club as an 11-year-old in 2019. An attack-minded full-back, Gordon progressed through the ranks and earned a scholarship after impressing for the Under-16s, gaining experience in cup competitions including the PDL Cup and Clarets Cup. Following his scholarship year 2 release with the Blades in may 2026, Gordon signed for Ben Hunter and Greg Young's Rossington Main at the end of August 2026.
