Rossington resume their Tuesday night travels once again tonight as Main head to North Yorkshire to take on the Rail at Station View.
Main will be hoping to take another huge leap closer of making the play-offs come the end of the season. An indispensable three points over their play-off rivals Harrogate Railway Athletic would give Main a four-point cushion over the trailing pack with only two games to go.
The Rail however have experienced good from in recent weeks having won eight out of their last 10 league games with the other two matches panning out as draws. The last time the Rail were beaten in the league was back in mid-January.
It does seem to be a reoccurring theme with Rossington at the moment, but it is for sure another huge game for Ben Hunter’s Blue Army. The Rail currently occupy fourth spot in the Northern Counties East League Division One, meanwhile Rossington sit directly below in fifth only eight points short but in possession of a game in hand over the Rail. If Rossington were to record another three points on away soil this will spark further fire to an already exciting play-off chase.
Team News
Main fans will be delighted to hear that no new injuries were picked up during Saturday’s home victory over Dronfield Town. Myron Gibbons won’t be back this evening meanwhile, Reiss Harrison and club Captain Bailey Conway both have a 50/50 chance of returning back into the squad.

Last Time Out v Harrogate
Rossington have fond memories of their trip to Station View last time the two sides met back in early November in the NCEL League Cup. Josh Yeaman put Main ahead 29 minutes into the contest before Myron Gibbons made it two seven minutes after the interval. The Rail managed to cook up some sort of response firing away on the 76 minute via Kieran Greenaway but this goal proved to be merely a consolation as Main marched on into the next round in front of 98 fans at Station View.
