Match Preview ?: Rossington Main v Retford FC
It is another huge game this week under the lights at Oxford Street as Rossington Main welcome fellow play-off chasers Retford FC.
Rossington remain fully focused on their season objective and will look to build on just that against the Choughs as they sit three points inside of the play-offs.
Retford have too set themselves the same ambitions but were defeated last time out on home soil to Rainworth Miners Welfare.
There is very little to separate these two sides in the Northern Counties East League Division One table as fifth place Rossington are four points and two places higher than the Choughs. Retford do possess the better head-to-head record against Main as in the two sides’ last four meetings, Retford have a 75% win percentage compared to Rossington’s single victory.

Following Saturday’s trip to FC Humber United, Sam Kitchen is a 50-50 after coming off injured at the end of the first half. Gary Mundy will still remain on the sidelines following his three-game suspension, it is expected that manager Ben Hunter will field a similar team.

Last Time Out v Retford
The Choughs claimed all three points last time the two sides met back in mid-October. Prior to a goalless first half, Retford deposited two goals via Liam Bennett and Alex Wonham in the space of 18 minutes after the hour mark struck. Main kept battling to the end but couldn’t find a way through as Retford later confirmed a comfortable 2-0 victory in front of 150 spectators at the Rail Ground.
