Last Time Out v Brigg
It was a bittersweet victory for Brigg last time the two sides met just under three weeks ago. The fourth round of the NCEL Cup saw the Zebras earn the initial spoils with goals from Scott Phillips, Reece Newell and Joshua Batty before Main’s Declan Slater scored a consolation goal three minutes from time. Despite the scoreline ending 1-3 in Brigg’s favour, it was later revealed that the Zebras fielded an ineligible player and were consequently removed from the competition, with Main therefore advancing into the quarter finals.
