Rossington travel to North Yorkshire on Saturday for their final away game of the regular season as Tadcaster are this weekend’s hosts.
Ben Hunter’s Rosso make the 76-mile round trip to face The Brewers having mathematically confirmed their place in the end of season Northern Counties East League Premier play-offs after a midweek victory against the champions Emley AFC on Tuesday. The midweek impressive win meant Rosso have now won their last five league matches after also beating Campion, Bottesford Town, Frickley Athletic and Thackley along the way.
Mick O’Connell’s Tadcaster host Rossington also in good form as The Brewers have experienced an unbeaten March and started April the same way with a victory last time out over Maltby Main which subsequently confirmed The Miners’ relegation. Taddy then had two wins and three draws during last month of which they are now unbeaten in all their last seven league outings.
With both sides having played the same number of games, there is currently eight places and 19 points which separate 12th place Tadcaster and current fourth place Rossington. Although Rossington confirmed their place in the play-offs after victory midweek, important points are still up for grabs with also the hope of results around them if they are to push into the top three.

With numerous substitutions made by both sides in the second half, duo from the bench Tyla Bell and Adam Baskerville came on to score in the last ten minutes of the game and to see Rosso confirm a 4-2 home victory over The Brewers.
