Rossington Main are back at home for the second time this week as Rosso are all set to host Bottesford Town in Doncaster for the first meeting between the pair at Non-League step 5.
Ben Hunter’s side come into the weekend’s fixture after a midweek 1-3 defeat at Oxford Street under the lights against Goole AFC despite a solid 0-2 away victory against Knaresborough Town last Saturday.
The Poachers managed by Mike Thompson visited Doncaster following a mixed bag of results as Bottesford have won twice, lost twice, and drawn once in their last five Northern Counties East League Premier matches. Like Rosso, Bottesford have beaten Knaresborough this February and have also been defeated by both Golcar United and Goole AFC in recent weeks.
There is currently 22 points which separate Rossington Main and 17th place Bottesford Town with this game being important at both ends of the table.

Last Time Out v Bottesford
Rossington exited the FA Vase at the second qualifying stage last time they played The Poachers back in late September at the Barrett Steel Stadium. The Poachers gave Rossington it all to do after the first half with a goal each from Mason Chaffer and Jack Griffin. On the fast artificial surface, Rosso attempted the comeback with Brad Grayson narrowing the deficit on the 70 minute and despite coming so close to finding a late equaliser, Rosso exited the FA Vase 2023/24 in front of 70 spectators in Scunthorpe.
