Rossington Main return to Oxford Street after two consecutive away games this Tuesday evening they welcome Garforth Town to Doncaster on the eve of Valentine’s Day.
Ben Hunter’s Rossington side who extended their unbeaten nine game run consisting of seven wins and two draws on Saturday in the Northern Counties East League Premier, will be looking to continue their good form against the West Riding side who sit three points and two places below Rosso in the table.
The Miners managed by Paul Marshall went from the bottom end of the table after a troubled August and now into a strong NCEL sixth position having won three out of their last five with defeats to both Barton Town and Thackley since entering 2024.
While Garforth will be looking for more of the same last time when they played Rossington, Rosso will be hoping continue their recent good form especially after a heavy 5-2 away defeat to Garforth earlier in the season of which Rossington had numerous players out injured.

Last Time Out v Garforth
Rossington suffered a 5-2 away defeat to The Miners when the sides last met at the beginning of September. Harry Viggars sent Garforth in front before Danny Deakin levelled proceedings with a well taken free kick. Tabish Hussain, Nash Connolly and Jordan Emery each scored before halftime to give Rossington a lot to do in the second 45 minutes. Despite Manasse Kianga pulling one back shortly after the hour mark struck, the comeback wasn’t to happen as Garforth sealed the deal when Matthew Antcliff scored the game’s seventh goal two minutes from time in front of 129 spectators at the Bannister Prentice Stadium.
