Rosso make the re-arranged trip to face The Weavers at the Skye Direct Stadium on Tuesday evening.

After Greg Young and Ben Hunter’s first game as join managers got off to a winning start at home on Saturday, Rosso travel to Huddersfield midweek and will aim to close the gap between 15th-place Golcar and 19th-place Rosso in which just three points separate the two sides.

The Weavers who are currently managed by Joe Skarz will be thankful for their return home having won four and drawn one of their last five home outings at the Skye Direct Stadium. The Weavers’ last home defeat came at the end of October.

With both sides having the same clear aim of gathering points and lifting themselves in the table, nothing could separate the two sides in the reverse fixture as Alfie Wilkinson’s goal inside the first-half looked like it would be the difference only for Archie Micklewthaite to provide an injury time equaliser for Rosso of which forced the points to be shared.

Alfie Wilkinson’s goal just before the interval looked like it was going to be all-important for The Weavers only for Archie Micklethwaite to provide the point deciding goal in the last few seconds of second-half injury time.
