Rosso are back at the Kalkut’s Community Stadium this Tuesday evening to face the Dennyboys who make the trip from West Yorkshire.

After an opening weekend 1-1 draw away against Barton Town which followed with an epic Emirates FA Cup 4-1 victory against Moulton on Saturday, Greg Young’s side return to Northern Counties East League Premier action at home under the lights.

Jamie Price’s Thackley make the trip to Doncaster following an FA Cup 4-0 away defeat at Irlam at the weekend which followed on from an opening Saturday 1-0 win at home to newly promoted Wombwell Town.

Last season both matches between Rosso and Thackley played out with an even scoreline with Young’s side coming back from a two or more goal deficit in both the 2024/25 meetings. With a total of 12 goals in these couple of matches, an exciting contest awaits in Doncaster on Tuesday.

Admission into the Kalkut's Community Stadium for both home and away supporters is priced at £6 for adults, £4 for concessions, £3 for youth under-18s, £2 for juniors under-12 (must be accompanied), and free for accompanied under-5s. A family ticket is also available for £15, which includes two adults and two youth/junior. Kick-off for this fixture is at 19:45.

Car Parking

For this fixture matchday parking system 1 will be in operation as the car park at the Kalkut's Community Stadium will be available for all with limited spaces on a first come, first served basis. Additional car-parking is available at the adjacent The Welfare, West End Lane or on Grange Lane. From here supporters can walk along West End Lane and down Oxford Street, or across The Welfare Station fields to the Kalkut's Community Stadium.

Last Time Out v Thackley

Rosso came back from 1-4 down in the pair’s last meeting at the end of February. Aside from Ross Hannah’s early finish shortly into the second half, at the hour mark when Ben Grech-Brooksbank and Antony Brown both had their brace for the visitors, Thackley looked like they would go on and get the win. However, in pure fight back spirit, Hannah soon scored another which then saw both Dylan Mantle and Paul Sherburn join him on the scoresheet to see the contest end 4-4 at the Kalkut’s Community Stadium.
