Craig Parry’s Worksop Town are going strong so far in the Northern Premier League at Non-League step 3 after storming to the title last season with seven games left to spare in the Northern Premier League East Division. Recently The Tigers also reached the first-round proper of the Emirates FA Cup where they were defeated 5-1 to the current EFL League Two leaders at the time Stockport County at Edgeley Park earlier this month.
The Tigers lifted the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup the competition before last when they edged past Rossington and went on to beat Maltby Main in front of over 1,000 spectators at Doncaster Rovers’ Eco-Power Stadium in the final. Unfortunately, for Matthew Wilson and Niall Doran, there is no further update on when these will be back fully fit.
