Following the recent addition of attacker Silas Valladolid-Collins, manager Greg Young is delighted to welcome three more signings through the door over the past week as Rossington Main continue to strengthen their squad.

Jordan Pilling, an attacker who made the move from Dinnington Town, has linked up with the team and featured in the last two fixtures, a draw and a win, making an immediate impact within the group.

The club is also thrilled to announce the return of Niall Doran for his third spell at Rosso. The attacking midfielder last featured for Rosso on 25 January 2022, having spent time away from the game through injury. Niall made his long-awaited return on Tuesday night, marking his 44th appearance for the club, a run in which he has also netted 22 goals. His return brings a familiar face and proven quality back into the Rosso attack.

At the other end of the pitch, defender Alex Phillipson has joined to bolster the backline. The former Leeds United Under-18 defender has experience playing abroad in Malta, and in Non-League football with Brighouse Town, Matlock Town, Stocksbridge Park Steels, and most recently Retford United. Alex also made his debut on Tuesday evening and adds valuable versatility and composure to the defensive unit.

Following these four new arrivals across the past month, young attacker Oliver Bowes has departed to join NCEL Division One side Doncaster City, while goalkeeper Callum Fielding remains a Rosso player but has dual-registered with Retford FC where he is regularly playing.
