A tough home game today against Selby - was made even worse with the rain. Players slipping everywhere Selby was playing some decent balls in the first 5 minutes nothing came from it.
The 1st chance of a goal falls to Selby 10 minutes gone.
5 minutes later a ball got played to Tyler and he slots the ball home from his left boot into the corner; puts Rossington main 1 nil up. After the first goal Rossington main was getting more joy down the left-hand side with Jamie Green playing some decent balls into the middle of the park 3rd chance of the game falls to Sherburn but well saved by the Selby keeper 23 minutes in. Foul in the middle of the park the Rossington main man only gets a talking to by the referee. The 4th chance falls to the Rossington main man but the defenders crowded him out of the box. Selby finally get a shot but it was well saved by Kian Johnson the first booking goes to the Selby man for the number 4. Selby finally find away to score against Kian from the corner on the 44th minute. After the half time whistle, the ref called the game off because of the weather conditions...great 1st half controlled by Rosso!
