Rossington return home this Saturday as the Dennyboys make the trip from Bradford to face Ben Hunter’s side at Oxford Street in the Northern Counties East League Premier.
Rosso come back to Oxford Street following a narrow midweek 2-1 defeat away in Bradford against Silsden at The Office Interiors Stadium on Tuesday evening. Prior to Tuesday’s meeting under the lights and before the postponed fixture against Pickering Town last Saturday, Rosso were victorious in their last game at home with a narrow one-goal victory over Bottesford Town.
Fellow play-off pushing rivals Thackley visit Doncaster with a solid 5-0 home victory against Knaresborough Town in their most recent Non-League step 5 outing with their impressive victory ending a four-game winless run which included three defeats to each of Penistone Church, Handsworth, Albion Sports and a draw against Maltby Main.
Following a draw in the previous meeting, another exciting fixture awaits in Rossington this Saturday as only a goal difference of six separates fifth place Rosso and sixth place Thackley who now sit outside of the current play-off places and with Hunter’s side in possession of one game in hand over the Dennyboys.

Last Time Out v Thackley
The points were shared evenly when both sides last came together at the end of October. A game which involved one-goal and one-red card apiece saw Ross Hannah’s second half goal cancel out Benjamin Ellison-Tope’s strike on the fourth minute as the game finished 1-1 with both sides ending with ten men in front of 178 spectators at Dennyfield.
