Rossington Main will look to bounce back from a minor blip midweek when they travel to Manse Lane on Saturday to face fellow play-off chasing Knaresborough Town.
Ben Hunter’s Blue Army travel over to Knaresborough following their nine-game unbeaten run coming to an end under the lights via a narrow defeat to Garforth Town on Tuesday evening.
Town managed by Simon Parkes also saw a similar run come to an end of late as Knaresborough suffered two defeats in their last two Northern Counties East League Premier games to both Bottesford Town and Albion Sports. Before this, Town had gone eight games unbeaten in the league.
While Rossington hold the bragging rights from what can only be described as an epic encounter last time out, there is only four places and eight points which separate fifth place Rossington and ninth place Knaresborough Town, with the latter having one game in hand over Rosso.

Last Time Out v Knaresborough
Rossington came back from behind deep into injury time to erupt Oxford Street last time the pair came together back in mid-October in front of 174 spectators in Doncaster. Jack Carr’s goal on the verge of halftime looked to be all-important however, prolific talisman Ross Hannah once again executed Hannah things by scoring an exhilarating brace in injury time at the end of the second half to secure Rosso one of the most heroic victories of the season and of course a priceless three points at Non-League step 5.
