Rossington Main are back at home this Saturday for the fourth consecutive time in the Northern Counties East League Premier when they host Knaresborough.
Ben Hunter’s Rossington side have took four points from their last three NCEL Premier fixtures at Oxford Street which includes playing the likes of Handsworth, Emley AFC and Albion Sports.
Knaresborough Town managed by Simon Parkes started the 2023/24 season strongly with an impressive five straight wins before a winless September followed in which Town only earned two points out of a possible 18.
Before Knaresborough were promoted to the NCEL Premier in the summer of 2018, in what was a regular NCEL Division One fixture. Town do possess the better head-to-head record in the pairs last five meetings as Rossington have recorded only two draws but three defeats to the West Riding FA side.

With game number four at home in a row approaching there is no further update on when currently injured Tyla Bell, Jamie Green, Matthew Wilson and Niall Doran will make their respective Rosso returns from injury.
Rossington Main fans, however, will be delighted to hear that both of Friday’s new signings: Jim Pollard and Mitch Langton will be in the starting XI against Knaresborough.

Tickets for this fixture are available to be purchased on the gate at Oxford Street for both home and away supporters. Tickets are priced at £5 for adults and £3 for concessions. Limited parking is available inside the stadium but operates under a first come first serve basis. All visitors must refrain from parking on Oxford Street if the designated car park at the ground is at maximum capacity. Additional parking is available at the Miners Welfare car park or on West End Lane. The kick-off time for this game is 15:00.

Rossington was defeated 2-0 away at Knaresborough the last time the two sides came together in March 2018. In what was the reverse fixture of the campaign in which Knaresborough were crowned champions of the NCEL Division One with an impressive 100 points tally, two early-goals from each of Benjamin Cohen and Nicholas Black was enough to defeat Rosso in-front of 118 spectators.
