Rossington Main return to Oxford Street after three away games on the bounce as Rosso welcome the Eagles under the lights on Tuesday evening.
Following a weekend with no Saturday fixture, Rosso return home this midweek off the back of a priceless victory against the Second Oldest Football Club in the World Hallam last Tuesday night. Rosso came back from two-goals behind to win 2-3 at the World’s Oldest Football Ground which included player manager for the evening Ben Hunter scoring a long-range screamer to break Hallam hearts at Sandygate.
The Eagles make the trip over to Doncaster following a 0-2 defeat at home to Thackley at the weekend. Eccleshill managed by Lee Elam currently occupy 16th in the Northern Counties East League Premier having picked up six points in eight games.
Rossington will be hoping to continue where they left off after last week’s statement comeback against The Countrymen however, it is the Eagles who boast the better head-to-head record in the pair’s last five meetings of which Rosso have won once, drawn and lost twice.
Team News
While Rosso were still without Liam King, Reiss Harrison and Jordan Buckham in last week’s victory at Hallam, the trio have a 50-50 chance of making a return and featuring against the Eagles on Tuesday. However, longer-term injured Jamie Green, Matthew Wilson and Niall Doran will all certainly miss the home fixture against Eccleshill.
