Rawlings has agreed to take on the project and will take charge for the first time for the ladies Sheffield & Hallamshire League Open Age Division 1 clash against Penistone Church at Oxford Street on Sunday 14th January.

Rawlings brings a wealth of experience, holding a UEFA B coaching qualification and showcasing an impressive coaching journey both in the UK and internationally.

Rawling’s dedication to grassroots football is also evident in his successful management role at Sheffield FC. His international coaching experience, particularly as the international coach (China) for Huddersfield Town Football Club, showcases his adaptability, overcoming language barriers, and immersing himself in the local culture to deliver coaching programs in China.

His coaching journey also includes impactful roles with Sheffield Hallam, Loughborough University teams, and The University of Sheffield, highlighting Rawling’s commitment to football development across various levels and his ability to contribute to the growth of players and his strong core values, motivating leadership style, and extensive coaching background align seamlessly with our vision for success.

Rawlings will also be joined by his trusted assistant Robson Andrews who has a background in performance analysis and in the upcoming days, Rawlings will also look to add another one maybe two to his support team.

Chairman Daniel Linstrum expressed his satisfaction, stating: "I am delighted to have concluded the appointment of Adam after an extensive search and after discussing the position with several amazing candidates. Adam convinced me that he has exactly the right attributes to make himself a great Rossington Main ladies team manager. Furthermore, I am confident that Adam will bring the right leadership to the team, and I urge everyone to now get behind Adam, his team, and the players. Additionally, I ask for your patience as we allow Adam the time to implement his ideas and philosophy, recognising that this process will take time. I would also like to put on record a big thanks to John Hayes and captain Steph Prescott for looking after the team in the interim while we went through the process of finding our new manager.”

Rawlings said: “It’s an honour to become the Rossington Main ladies head coach and team manager. My staff and I are ready and eager to get to work, and we want to bring back the feel-good factor and positive atmosphere. We will need the fans; we need unity, and we need everyone aligned and that starts with us as staff and my players.”

Welcome to Rossington Main Ladies FC, Adam!
