Oxford Street has been the home of Rossington Main since 1921, when the club moved from its previous home on a small piece of land at the rear of the Rossington Colliery offices. The ground has had many developments and additions since those days and currently boasts an approximate capacity of 2,000.

An early photograph, circa 1999, shows how the ground was back then with the Porta-Kabins still in place, where the Popular Terrace now stands. These Kabins were the changing rooms for players and officials before the Main Stand was erected and the new Changing rooms located inside them. They were in a poor state and were pulled down within a year or two of the pictures being taken.

In front of the Porta-Kabins is the old Dug-Outs. Home and Away used the same block, seperated by a block wall in the middle. The roof was a 10 inch (250mm) thick block of re-inforced concrete measuring approx 20 foot by 8 foot (6m by 2.6m). Believe me when that came down we had some decisions to make as to how it would happen and where to put it once it was down.

To the very right-hand side of the photo you can just make out the old Hospitality Room that was also situated inside a Porta-Kabin and again was in a sorry state of repair. Along with the removal of the old changing-rooms, the building of the new Popular Terrace and the extending of the Tea-Room, the Hospitality was moved into this new area (currently being used as the Press Room).
